Book Coach/Editor For Hire

Whether I’m working with critique partners or clients, I love helping other writers refine their work. I also love being a book coach/editor for Author Accelerator, because I’m in the company of a group of skilled and friendly people. Author Accelerator’s book coaches do more than provide developmental and/or line edits, though. We offer encouragement, to make sure you know what your doing right, where your strengths are as a storyteller as well as what you can improve on. We provide moral support and reassurance that you can do this, so that you don’t get frustrated and discouraged.

I’m currently looking to take on some new clients and Author Accelerator is offering some discounts for Pitch Wars contestants (fun fact: an author I recently worked with just made it into Pitch Wars). Below are some of the discounts available. If you have critique partners and are satisfied working with them, great. But if you’re looking to invest a bit more into your writing career and would like some professional support, Author Accelerator is a great choice. You can request to work with me specifically, or submit an application to be paired up with a different editor. Up to you.

Below are the special offers available for Pitch Wars entrants. All offers are good until November 1, 2016.

Manuscript evaluations: includes a comprehensive summary and a 15-point checklist of the major elements of their complete manuscript. Normally $399 for up to 300 pages. PitchWars participants get $50 off.

Manuscript edits: full developmental edits on a manuscript, with on-the-page feedback and a comprehensive summary of strengths/weaknesses. Pricing is normally $5/page. PitchWars participants get $100 off.

Extra Bonus: once a writer has their evaluation or their edit, if they would like to come into the regular Author Accelerator weekly coaching program to work through the findings with a book coach (either $199/month, $399/month), writers can get an additional $25 off the first month.

Twitter pitch evaluations: 10 pitches for $50 (great for #PitMad or any other Twitter pitch contest you may be considering)
